Problem
Client attempts to connect to a remote database and gets error:
ORA-12637 Packet Receive Failed
Database authentication is used.
Solution
Check client side SQLNET.ORA file. Delete or comment out the line if exists
SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES=(NTS)
